Maintained by ANCOLD, this register is used specifically for official reporting to its international counterpart, the International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD).
The data within this register has been periodically updated since 2002. Currently, the responsibility for updating the relevant dam entries rests with the individual dam owners and/or the regulatory bodies within each state and territory.
